Hello everyone,
I am sad to pass along that Ylva Bouvin of the Braid's Griffon Kennel
in Sweden has passed away. She has been battling cancer for the past 18
months. She visited with our family for several days last year when she picked
up Kane. I spoke with Ylva a few weeks ago and she had such great hope and
faith that she would recover and be able to travel to visit with us again
soon.
Ylva had a adventurous spirit that she attributed to her parents. She
had traveled extensively throughout the world and told me that she
considered Sweden to be her country but that Peru was her homeland. She has her
adopted Peruvian children to carry on her teaching and faith for the future.
A photo of Ylva with Kane is attached. She felt he understood her
problems and served as an empath throughout her ordeal with cancer.
I've never met someone quite like her...our attachment was immediate
